Lately there have been a lot of commotion after Paul Graham mentioned that founders/CEOs with heavy accents were a bad sign for a startup. Having an accent is often okay but "the problem is when people can't understand you."

I have created the protoype of SayAfter.me to help my wife with her pronunciation as she was studying English. I wanted her to to be able to communicate clearly, as I had witnessed co-workers (devs) losing their jobs/contracts because of their heavy accents and inability to communicate efficiently.
